Greetings to the Venerable Monks, the Buddhist Community, and all practitioners!

On behalf of the Vietnamese Buddhist Society of the Northern Territory (VBSNT), we are honored to share our thoughts and insights with fellow Buddhist practitioners worldwide.

We believe that it is our responsibility as a Dharma practitioner to spread the Dharma and ensure the enduring presence of the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha for the benefit of all beings throughout our spiritual journeys.

We recognize that the Buddha Dharma faces challenges of degeneration in this technological age. To address this, we utilize social media to share Buddhism and connect practitioners globally, allowing us to practice together and engage in vital Dharma activities.

To further this mission, we have created this website as a dedicated platform for disseminating the Dharma and benefiting all who seek it.

We warmly invite you to visit our website, share your valuable thoughts and wisdom, and assist the VBSNT in preserving and promoting the Dharma while strengthening our Buddhist community.

ANNOUNCEMENT - Full Moon Ceremony and New Year Blessing for 2025

The Vietnamese Buddhist Society of the Northern Territory (VBSNT) cordially invites all devotees and Buddhists to attend the Thượng Nguyên Full Moon Ceremony and New Year Blessing for 2025, presided over by Venerable Thích Nữ Giới Huyền.

Location: International Buddhist Temple, 37 Parkside Crescent, Leanyer, NT 0812
Date: Saturday, February 15, 2025

Program:
9:30 AM: Gathering of Buddhists
10:00 AM: New Year Dharma Talk
10:15 AM: Offering of Blessing Scrolls
10:45 AM: Chanting for Peace (Universal Gate Chapter, Lotus Sutra)
11:30 AM: Noon Offering to Buddha
11:45 AM: Offering to Venerable
12:00 PM: Offering to Spirits, Mông Sơn Food Offering
12:30 PM: Informal Lunch

VBSNT respectfully invites all Buddhists to attend and offer prayers for themselves, their families, and all sentient beings. You may also send a list of names for blessings to the temple to be prayed for before the ceremony. We wish you and your families a prosperous and peaceful new year.
