With the support of the Vietnamese Buddhist Society of the NT

The retreat program will be conducted in English, Vietnamese and Mandarin.

Participants are kindly requested to register using our online portal on the website to facilitate the arrangement of transportation and food. This step is essential to ensure that everyone is well taken care of.

Weekly chanting and praying

Please join our chanting Sutras session every Saturday morning (except on big events and retreat day) with the guidance of Venerable Thích Nữ Giới Huyền.

Venue: International Buddhist Temple, 37 Parkside Cres, Leanyer.

Time: 10h30 Saturday.

9:30 AM: Gathering of Buddhists
10:00 AM: New Year Dharma Talk
10:15 AM: Offering of Blessing Scrolls
10:45 AM: Chanting for Peace (Universal Gate Chapter, Lotus Sutra)
11:30 AM: Noon Offering to Buddha
11:45 AM: Offering to Venerable
12:00 PM: Offering to Spirits, Mông Sơn Food Offering
12:30 PM: Informal Lunch

VBSNT respectfully invites all Buddhists to attend and offer prayers for themselves, their families, and all sentient beings. You may also send a list of names for blessings to the temple to be prayed for before the ceremony. We wish you and your families a prosperous and peaceful new year.
